CABINET NG UPGRADES QB SYSTEMCabinet NG has unveiled the latest version of CNG-Books 6.0, its document management system designed for Intuit’s QuickBooks. Incorporating .Net technology and Microsoft SQL database features, CNG-Books 6.0 gives small and midsized businesses the ability to replace piles of paper with automated electronic workflows that streamline QuickBooks-centric accounting tasks.

Because CNG-Books was developed to work with Intuit’s QuickBooks, it has the ability to streamline data entry and document filing into one electronic process working with CNG-Safe, the company’s document management and workflow software, to unite QuickBooks transactions with business documents.

New features include support for multiple methods of document import, and integration with CNG-Safe security and retention policies for applying access rights and retention periods from the CNG-Books entry screen.

NETSUITE INTROS ONEWORLD

Software developer NetSuite has released NetSuite OneWorld, an online accounting, enterprise resource planning, customer relationship management and e-commerce software system aimed at multinational and multi-subsidiary companies for managing their global business operations in real-time.

The system uses “cloud computing” technology to allow multiple companies and subsidiaries to operate the software from a single database. NetSuite said that the software would provide the appropriate functionality for currency, taxation, language, reporting and dashboards wherever the user is located.

NetSuite is aiming OneWorld at midsized companies as an add-on to its existing software for an additional $1,999 per month, positioning it against Microsoft Dynamics GP and SAP. For more, visit www.netsuite.com.
