Intacct Forms Alliance With Outsource Firm

Los Gatos, Calif. (Dec. 12, 2002) -- Intacct, the Internet-based accounting software and services platform, has formed a marketing alliance with Outsource Partners International, the accounting services outsourcing firm that in May acquired the national outsourcing practice of KPMG.

"The two companies are working together to bring online accounting software and services to multi-location businesses, including franchises, retail chains, and professional services organizations," Intacct said.

"OPI is committed to offering enhanced finance and accounting services that reduce costs and improve financial reporting," said Clarence Schmitz, chief executive of New York-based OPI. "This alliance is a continuation of our commitment to expand our Web-enabled accounting services, enabling a whole new group of clients to focus on their core business competencies."

"The professionals at OPI have tremendous experience in helping businesses to cost-effectively improve their financial processes," said Intacct chief executive David C. Thomas. "The multi-location capabilities that we have built into the Intacct accounting system are a huge benefit to OPI clients that have locations around the country or the world."
