Intuit Hires New CFO

Mountain View Calif. (Jan. 6, 2003) -- QuickBooks developer Intuit has hired Robert Henske as senior vice president and chief financial officer to replace former chief financial officer, Greg Santora, who announced his retirement last August.

Henske moves over from a similar position at Synopsis, Inc., a developer of electronic design automation tools, which is based in Intuit’s home city of Mountain View, Calif. He reports directly to Intuit chief executive Steve Bennett.

"Brad is a proven business and financial leader, with a track record of driving growth and strategic change within companies," said Bennett, Intuit president and chief executive officer. "He led significant process improvement while at Synopsys, helping to guide the company to greater levels of growth, efficiency and performance."

"I am excited to join Intuit at a key time in its history," said Henske. "Intuit is a company with great assets, including an unique dedication to its customers that will help propel greater growth."
