Super-regional CPA and business advisory firm J.H. Cohn LLP posted annual revenues of $246.4 million, an 11 percent rise over the year-ago period.
The firm, which is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year, ranked No. 14 on Accounting Todays 2009 Top 100 Firms list.
Highlights for the firm over the past year include merging in Good Swartz Brown & Berns, a two-office firm in the Los Angeles area, and Frederic Kantor & Co. a New York-based firm.
During the year, the firm also added an economist to its staff as well as assembled the Client Economic Recovery Team, a multidisciplinary group to advise and consult with financial institutions and public companies on how to navigate the financial crisis.
