K2 Enterprises recognizes top tech products

K2 Enterprises’ annual Quality Awards are given to accounting technology products that display innovation, and over the past two decades of their existence, that feat has become more difficult and exciting to achieve. This year’s school of winners are no slouches, however, and provide invaluable services to the accountants that use them.

“The creators of technology solutions continue to step up their game,” Randy Johnston, thought leader and vice president at K2 said in a statement. “The pace of innovation is accelerating.”

Right Networks wins Prime Award

In 2015, K2 Enterprises added a new overall award called the Prime Award, which is given each year to just one company that fits certain criteria of excellence — and is only awarded if such a company can be found. This year, Right Networks was named the winner, for excelling as a provider of cloud hosted environments, as well as for meeting the following criteria:
• Reasonable management goals and expectations;
• Long-term stability in the accounting market;
• Clear and honest communication with employees and market influencers;
• High-quality products;
• Top-shelf customer support;

• Significant commitment to product development and product improvement; and,
• Great management vision and direction for both current and future plans.

Right Networks

“Right Networks has innovated hosting, support and tools, particularly with their strategy of offering pre-packaged tax hosting for Lacerte/ProSeries customers,” stated Brian Tankersley, director of strategic relationships at K2. “Right Networks has expanded their product line with new solutions, added a powerful transaction importer, and made significant changes to the application architecture. I can think of no other company which has focused so much on the hosting industry for the accounting profession.”
