Karbon launches client lifecycle solution

Accounting practice management solutions provider Karbon announced the launch of Karbon for Clients, an end-to-end solution that manages the entire client lifecycle from onboarding and delivery to long-term relationship management.

The solution is built around a client portal that clients can access 24/7 via web or mobile app to complete tasks, send documents and communicate in real time. All client activity, from comments to eSignatures, is automatically linked to firm workflows.

The software also features smart notifications and real time updates that keep clients informed and reduce the need for followups; integrated task management capabilities that work to streamline client deliverables; a centralized and complete record of client interactions across multiple channels; secure file sharing and document management features with enterprise-grade security, two-factor authentication, and eSignatures and approvals; and an interface that can be custom tailored to each specific client.

"Our mission has always been to empower accounting professionals to deliver exceptional service," said Mary Delaney, CEO of Karbon. "With Karbon for Clients, we're making it effortless for firms to elevate their service delivery through a secure and fully connected client experience that strengthens relationships and drives firm growth."

This announcement comes just two weeks after Karbon also announced a new integration with Ignition that automates the entire client lifecycle, from signed agreement to payment to work delivery. Meanwhile just yesterday Canopy announced a new solution to automate much of the client intake process.

This news aligns with recent observations from this year's Best Firms for Technology that accountants are increasingly focusing on the client experience and are looking for solutions in that realm. Whether evaluating potential clients, accepting new ones, or working with existing ones, managing them all was a clear pain point for many firms, leading them to concentrate on improving the efficiency and efficacy of their processes at every stage.
