KashFlow has introduced a Web service to help small and midsized Web retailers do their accounting.
The service automates the entry of customer information and sales data from a vendor's e-commerce site to the KashFlow online accounting software.
The add-on, known as KashFlow API, provides an application-programming interface that allows other computer programs to exchange data with a KashFlow account.
Porta-charge, a company that sells mobile phone accessories online, is already using the new service, and Quick Formations Ltd., an online company-formation service, plans to implement it.
