Jamie Ellis has joined Indiana-based Top 100 Firm Katz, Sapper & Miller LLP as chief of operations and finance.
In his new role, Ellis will oversee the finance, HR, IT, facilities and general administrative functions of the firm.
Prior to joining KSM, Ellis was COO of a Pennsylvania law firm, and before that he served for eight years as CFO and principal at Maryland-based Top 100 Firm SC&H Group. He began his career as an auditor at Ernst & Young.
"With more than 15 years of experience in professional services, Jamie brings a deep knowledge of operational management to Katz, Sapper & Miller. His accounting and operations background is a tremendous asset for our firm," said managing partner David Resnick. "We are thrilled to have him on board."
Ellis succeeds William Leach, who will be retiring on June 30 after a 34-year career with the firm. "Bill's dedication and service to the growth of our firm cannot be overstated," said Resnick.
Ellis holds a BS in Accounting from the Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from Loyola University Maryland.
