Kaufman, Rossin Appoints New MP

IMGCAP(1)] Blain Heckaman is the new managing principal at Kaufman, Rossin & Co.

Heckaman succeeds the firm's co-founder, James Kaufman, who held the position since the firm went into business nearly 50 years ago. Kaufman will stay on board as chairman and CEO.

“Heckaman is a strategic visionary whom I trust will lead our firm to new heights as we enter our 50th year of business in South Florida,” Kaufman said in a statement. “He is in-step with the firm’s commitment to leading edge technology, which has helped increase efficiency and productivity for our clients and fully supports our employee-driven culture.”

Heckaman joined KRC 28 years ago as a senior auditor and made partner in 1996.

He is a CPA in Florida and Indiana and currently serves as treasurer for the Voices for Children foundation, a non-profit organization that raises funds for the Guardian ad Litem Program. Heckaman has been involved with the foundation for more than 10 years.
