Kmetz, Nuttall, Elwell, Graham, PLLC is merging in the accounting practice of A.J. Brackins, CPA, P.A.

The merger will allow KNEG CPAs to expand its ability to serve clients in the Treasure Coast area of Florida. Financial terms were not disclosed.

As part of the merger, Brackins will move his practice to KNEG’s offices in Vero Beach, Fla., where he will continue to provide forensic auditing and other accounting services to his clients in the citrus, construction, aircraft, real estate and wholesale industries, in addition to his nonprofit and municipal clients.

The merger will add to KNEG’s service offerings. “Our focus on continuing to offer the highest level of expertise, combined with cutting-edge technologies, is what sets KNEG apart,” said KNEG managing partner Scott Nuttall in a statement. “The addition of A.J. (Reese) Brackins will broaden the firm’s areas of expertise and afford our staff the ability to grow their knowledge base in industries that Reese Brackins has been serving for decades. We are excited to have this addition to our firm and feel the transition will be seamless as the philosophies of client service excellence by both firms will continue to co-exist.”

KNEG has operated in Vero Beach since 1977, helping local businesses and individuals with tax, accounting, audit and professional bookkeeping services. The firm specializes in providing services for not-for-profit organizations, condominium associations and high net worth individuals.

With a staff of five principals, two managers and eight staff professionals, KNEG is one of the largest CPA firms in Vero Beach. Brackins’s practice also dates back 35 years.
