Cloud-based document management software provider KnowledgeTree has partnered with Fujitsu to extend its third-party application interface, Hot Folders, to work with Fujitsu ScanSnap scanners.
The KnowledgeTree Hot Folder integration with Fujitsu ScanSnap is designed to enable businesses to scan invoices and upload them to a KnowledgeTree repository. Once an invoice is loaded into the KnowledgeTree repository via Fujitsus ScanSnap, or any of its scanners, it can be entered into a user-customized payment process workflow. In addition, because KnowledgeTree is an online service, invoices are stored electronically and accessible from anywhere.
Desktop scanners, like the Fujitsu ScanSnap series, are the heroes of simplified document storage, doing the heavy lifting of converting paper to bits, said KnowledgeTree chief executive Daniel Chalef. The KnowledgeTree Hot Folders integration adds logic, organization and process to a seemingly endless well of billing information and invoices.
