Krost, Baumgarten, Kniss & Guerrero Names COO

Elizabeth Hugh has been appointed as the first chief operating officer at Krost, Baumgarten, Kniss & Guerrero.

“Even though this is a unique position for a CPA and consulting firm, we are a progressive firm and feel this addition will position us for significant growth in the near future,” the firm’s managing partner, Greg Kniss, said in a statement.

Hugh, who has been a licensed CPA since 1985, actually joined the firm in early July. She intends to help the firm launch a mentoring program that will nurture future leaders. She also plans to create policies and procedures to enhance client service, carry out strategic plans, promote efficiency, and develop training programs.

Prior to taking on her role as COO, Hugh served as an administrative partner at Green Hasson Janks LLP and a staff accountant at Block Good & Gagerman.

In addition, Hugh volunteers at TreePeople, the Union Rescue Mission, the Los Angeles Conservation Corps and helps with fundraisers for the Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce for the Women in Business Committee, where she served on the board.
