Kathy Lai, CPA, has joined the partnership at Macias Gini & O'Connell LLP.

Lai, who is joining MGO's Public Services Group in Orange County, brings 12 years of experience at a Big Four firm, where she worked with large governmental entities, higher education institutions, school districts, utilities and not-for-profit organizations, including managing the audits of the largest university system in the country and the fifth largest city in California.
"In addition to being absolutely committed to serving my clients well, I'm committed to developing my team," said Lai. "I'm particularly sensitive to the specific challenges of working mothers and strive to develop a supportive and encouraging work environment for them."
Lai is also a founding board member of the International Society of Filipinos in Finance and Accounting.
