Large regional firm LarsonAllen has joined the Intacct Business Partner Program, marking the first time the firm has entered the reseller business.
The move is, in large part, an extension of a decade-long relationship with the cloud-based accounting and financial management software company as LarsonAllen has utilized Intacct for business process outsourcing purposes during that time.
“We’ve been in BPO since early on, doing outsourced accounting work and recently signed the VAR agreement as a way to expand our relationship with [Intacct] and get more traction to offer Intacct to larger businesses,” said John Wooldridge, principal of outsourcing solutions for LarsonAllen. “The BPO business is still going to be our primary focus, but we felt we needed to have the capability to take advantage of other opportunities we were seeing. This is not just a play to be in the reseller game, but we were getting reseller opportunities without making a lot of effort in the area.”
Wooldridge continued to note that LarsonAllen is in the process of building a cloud-application consulting group to better serve its clients needs for such applications and services.
