Lazard Dana Merges with Deemer Davidson Prather

CPA firms Lazard Dana LLP and Deemer Davidson Prather PC have merged, changing their name to Deemer Dana & Froehle LLP.

Financial terms of the deal, which became effective Jan. 1, were not disclosed. The main office will be in Savannah, where the combined firm will have seven partners and 32 team members. The firm has a new office there in a 24,000-square-foot building with a training room, video conferencing and several meeting rooms. The combined firm will also continue to operate two other Georgia offices in Duluth and Franklin. The Duluth office will have two partners and 16 team members, and the Franklin office will have nine partners and 51 team members.

“Together we have the ability to further our value proposition for our customers across the board and in particular, those in the architecture, engineering and construction industries,” said John E. Matthews, managing partner of Deemer Dana & Froehle LLP, in a statement.

Other industries targeted by the firm include post-secondary educational institutions, retail, hospitality, health care, professional services and more. The firm partners with the McGladrey Network and McGladrey & Pullen.
