LBMC Hires Nix as Partner

Lisa Nix has joined Lattimore Black Morgan & Cain PC and the LBMC Family of Companies as a partner. Nix will lead the transaction advisory services practice where she will focus on health care services.

Prior to LBMC, Nix was a director at Deloitte’s National Health Care and Life Sciences Transaction Services practice.

Nix has more than 20 years of public accounting experience more than 10 years of experience in health care transaction services. She has led and managed assurance and advisory services for health care companies including not-for-profit, for-profit private and public entities, and her transaction experience includes leading multi-functional health care merger and acquisition teams serving on transactions ranging in size from several million to over $7 billion dollars for both strategic and financial buyers.

Nix has significant experience in the health care industry and has assisted companies with many completed or proposed transactions across sectors including acute care hospitals, surgical facilities, long-term care, home health, skilled nursing facilities, dental practice management, disease management, dialysis clinics, laboratory services, managed care, physician practices, physician and mid-level staffing services, pharmaceutical services, HMO, PPO, and psychiatric/behavioral care.

Nix has also served various clients in bankruptcy and reorganization as well as managing services for initial public offerings, secondary equity and debt offerings and troubled debt restructurings in the health care industry.

Nix is a licensed CPA and a member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants and AICPA. She received her Bachelors in Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University.
