LBMC Names Partner-in-charge of Litigation, Valuation Services

Chris Lovin has worked his way up to partner-in-charge of the litigation and valuation services division of Top 100 Firm LBMC. Lovin succeeds David Wood, who is retiring from the role.

“I was very fortunate to persuade Chris to join me in our litigation/valuation department some 18 years ago,” Wood said in a statement. “He has earned the right to lead our work in this area with his professional approach, training and experience. He is well regarded by the attorneys he has work with and clients for his determination to provide the highest quality service. He will continue to build on the foundation that has been established.”

Lovin has more than 20 years of experience in commercial litigation and valuation services. Lovin’s professional leadership also includes course training and mentoring to internal and external professionals.

In addition, Lovin is the chairman of the Tennessee State Certified Public Accountants Forensic and Valuation Services Task Force and works closely with the AICPA and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

Chris is a graduate of The University of Tennessee where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in accounting and business administration in 1994. He also earned his Master of Accountancy degree from The University of Tennessee in 1995.
