LexisNexis Releases Federal Code Advisor

LexisNexis introduced LexisNexis Tax Advisor-Federal Code, containing federal tax content organized from a Tax Code perspective.

The third release in the LexisNexis Tax Center series, the product combines interpretive information with the relevant section of the Tax Code. Tax Center contains treatises from tax experts, case law, regulations, rulings and opinions.

Tax Advisor-Federal Code provides access to more than 1,500 Internal Revenue Code sections, along with more than 6,500 total explanations. It joins the previous two releases in the Tax Center series: State Tax Practice Insights and Tax Advisor-Federal Topical.

Tax Center provides access to research from different publishers, including Matthew Bender, CCH, BNA, Tax Analysts, LexisNexis, Kleinrock, Wiley and PLI. It also includes papers from New York University, the University of Southern California, Heckerling Law Reviews, the American Bar Association and the American Institute of CPAs. The product integrates Shepherd's Citation Service and contains Shepherd's Signal indications of when cases and code sections are still applicable.

Tax Advisor-Federal Code includes a left navigational pane that displays related content such as regulations, explanations, legislative history, annotations, analysis and recent developments. Bidirectional links let researchers move between the various documents.
