Akron, Ohio (Aug. 11, 2004) -- Moore Stephens Apple, a nine-partner CPA and business firm here, merged with business valuation and litigation support specialist Turner & Nemeth of Mayfield Village.
Terms were not disclosed.
The combined entity will now have a total of 75 employees.
Turner & Nemeth principal Bob Turner will continue to manage the office in Mayfield Village. To expand services at that location, Moore Stephens Apple will transfer Sean McKiernan -- a MSA shareholder who specializes in general accounting practices for privately held businesses -- to the Mayfield Village location.
Established in 1943, Moore Stephens Apple has carved out niche specialties in such areas as human resources and information technology. It also is a member of the 273-firm network of Moore Stephens North America.
