Secure file-sharing product maker Lockbox has released an iPhone and iPad app to give current customers the ability to view their sensitive files securely and privately in a mobile setting.
Lockbox provides services to clients across multiple industries, including banking, financial services, legal and accounting.
The Australia-based company entered the U.S. market in May 2013, with the release of Lockbox Client Portal, a secure file sharing platform with client-side end-to-end encryption. The Lockbox Client Portal for iPad and iPhone extends same level of privacy and security with document viewing, ensuring that no one but authorized users can access the data.
“We're thrilled to release this app, which is the first step in an ongoing process to make the Lockbox family of file sharing products secure, yet simple and beautiful,” said Lockbox chief executive Peter Long. “Businesses that in the past have stayed away from downloading sensitive data to their mobile devices can now share documents knowing that they can retain control of their data.”
