Apel and Associates to Merge in Navigate to Success
Details: Navigate to Success, a bookkeeping business based in Sauk City, Wis., is merging into Apel and Associates, an accounting firm based in nearby Prairie du Sac, according to the
Apel and Associates owner Kari Apel acquired the 15-year-old Navigate to Success from its current owner, Jackie Bascom, and plans to relocate the combined firm to an old insurance company building in downtown Prairie du Sac, according to the site.
Apel plans to focus the combined firm more on tax services. Bascom sold the bookkeeping business so she could concentrate more on her work with nonprofits.

2020CA Joins Beavis Morgan
Details: 2020CA Ltd merged with Beavis Morgan LLP, a London-based accounting, tax and business advisory firm, to form BM2020 Ltd., effective Aug. 5, 2016.
BM2020 Ltd is led by managing director Stephen Kelly. “This is an exciting development for our business as we continue to grow and develop, always seeking new ways to better service our clients,” Kelly said in a statement. “We remain committed to retaining our focus on delivering the highly personalized service which has underpinned our business over many years, and to providing the best possible advice at all times.”
BM2020 will focus on offering bookkeeping, management accounts, value-added taxes and payroll services, along with a virtual finance director service.
“We are delighted to welcome Stephen and the 2020CA Ltd. team to Beavis Morgan,” said Beavis Morgan managing partner Nigel Haigh in a statement. “The merger, which is strategically a good fit with our existing business services division, brings business opportunities and an experienced, motivated team to Beavis Morgan.”
