Marcum Search Promotes 2 to EVP

Tori Piechocniski and Nicholas Schleifer have been promoted to executive vice president at Marcum Search LLC, an executive recruiting firm that is part of the Marcum Group. They will oversee the day-to-day operations of the firm's Melville office, and be responsible for hiring additional staff and growing market share in the region.

The two have worked together since 2004, when they joined the Long Island offices of a national search firm.

"Tori and I are very excited to build on the talented, core members of our team as well as to seek out and bring in additional new talent to serve our clients in the Long Island marketplace" said Schleifer.

"The technology, accounting and finance industries are expected to continue to grow on Long Island," said Marcum Search president Richard Paris. "Tori and Nick will work in partnership to expand our personnel and pave the way for new business relationships."

Piechocniski joined Marcum Search in 2010 as vice president, bringing 20 years of experience in both accounting and recruiting, including seven years as a senior staffing manager for the temporary accounting division of a specialized staffing firms. Earlier in her career, Piechocniski held controller, auditing and accounting positions at public companies and accounting firms. She holds a BBA in Accounting from Hofstra University.

Schleifer joined Marcum Search in 2011 as a vice president, bringing extensive experience as a recruiters, including stints at two of the largest national recruiting firms. He began his career as an auditor, and worked at both KPMG and BDO. He holds a BA in Accounting.
