McConnell & Jones LLP and Walker & Co. LLP have formed a strategic alliance to enhance both firms’ service offerings in common markets.
McConnell & Jones has offices throughout Texas as well as Washington, D.C., and is considered to be one of the largest public accounting firms in Houston. Leveraging an established back office infrastructure and operational processes, McConnell & Jones will assume responsibility for human resources, technology and accounting functions for the alliance, with the expectation of increasing efficiencies in the future.
Walker & Co. will provide the coalition with more than three decades of experience working in the Washington, D.C., market and offers a platform to further build the reputation of both firms as top quality service providers to clients in and around the Capital City. Walker & Company’s managing partner, Ron Walker, will serve as the partner-in-charge for the D.C. offices, where he will continue to work with his existing clients while helping the McConnell & Jones team emphasize a personal connection in the D.C. area.
The association of the two firms results from longstanding relationships among partners at both firms who want to emphasize the strength of their professional capabilities in the governmental, nonprofit, and employee benefit plan audit practice niches, along with tax services and business consulting.
