McConnell Jones Lanier Acquires Tech Consultancy

Accounting firm McConnell Jones Lanier & Murphy has expanded its technology and telecommunications consulting services with the acquisition of Paladin Communications.

The acquisition will allow MJLM to increase the range of available services within its Technology Services Division to include telecom audit and lifecycle management, wireless audit and optimization, and network design, implementation and sourcing. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

“With more than 12 years working hand-in-hand with business leaders to optimize operations and improve profitability, we have seen the necessity for the right tools for the right job,” said MJLM consulting services partner Odysseus Lanier in a statement. “Every growing organization requires stable technological solutions that support today’s demands while offering flexibility to adapt to growing and changing needs.  The Strategic Technological Planning division will offer more than recommendations. They will offer strategies for implementation along with the technical know-how to roll up their sleeves and get the work done.”

The Strategic Technology Planning division is led by Samuel Davis and Robert Foster. Samuel Davis offers more than 20 years experience in information technology management including strategy development, process improvement, technology management, organizational development, project management, contract negotiations, change management, budgeting and planning, and M&A integration. Foster is the former president and founder of Paladin Communications. He has experience in telecom auditing and optimization along with a strong background in implementing technology for carrier-neutral sourcing of networks supporting data, video and voice.
