Meyers Norris Penny Leverages Web 2.0

Accounting firm Meyers Norris Penny has launched an upgraded Web site that takes advantage of new Web technologies.

The Canadian firm has added features such as Really Simple Syndication, or RSS, news feeds to deliver news to clients conveniently without their having to search the site for updates.

The firm has also introduced a blog with posts from partners and “knowledge leaders” at the firm, along with the ability for clients and other site users to comment on the posts. The site also includes Google Maps to help clients find their way to its offices more easily. The firm has offices in Alberta, Calgary, Manitoba, Ontario and Saskatchewan.

Also new on the site is access to the background of the knowledge leaders at MNP and a list of their published articles.

To check out the new site, visit www.mnp.ca.
