MNP, one of Canada’s largest Chartered Accounting firms, will merge in Montreal-based William Epstein, Chartered Accountants, effective October 1.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
The union bolsters MNP’s presence in the Montreal market, which it first entered earlier this year with the merger of WSBG LLP.
Epstein will now be under the purview of Louis Grossbaum, MNP’s regional managing partner in Montreal.
“In 2008, MNP developed a new strategic plan to grow from being a regional to a national firm,” said Daryl Ritchie, chief executive of MNP. “Bringing in like-minded firms in Montreal has helped us realize that vision, and we couldn’t be more pleased to have the Epstein team join the MNP family.”
