Anderson ZurMuehlen and Co., a regional CPA and business advisory firm here, agreed to merge with Great Falls-based Hamilton Misfeldt and Co. effective July 1.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The union will add 20 CPAs and 40 employees to Anderson ZurMuehlen.
The merger will boost AZ's presence in the north central territory of Montana. In addition to its headquarters in Helena, the firm currently has offices in Bozeman, Billings, Missoula, Butte and a CPA in Whitefish.
Core practices of both firms include work in agriculture, local governments, nonprofit organizations, financial institutions, health care and small businesses.
Anderson ZurMuehlen generated $21.7 million in 2010 revenues.
