NCCPAP Selects Johnson as President

Sandra Johnson has been elected as president of The National Conference of CPA Practitioners. She will serve as president for the 2014 – 2015 term starting November 1.

[IMGCAP(1)] Johnson is the sole practitioner of Sandra G. Johnson CPA PC in Bellmore, NY. Her firm has four employees, focuses on individuals, nonprofits and small businesses.

Johnson is past president of both the Long Island Center for Business and Professional Women and the Chamber of Commerce of the Bellmores.

NCCPAP also tapped several members of Long Island’s business community as officers on the organization’s national board. New board members include: 

Stephen Mankowski, a partner at EP Caine & Associates, will take on the role of executive vice president at NCCPAP.

Neil Fishman, owner of Fishman Associates, will serve as vice president.

Sanford Zinman, who is the president of Zinman Accounting, will also serve as the vice president. Stuart Lang, a principal shareholder at Stuart G. Lang, PC, is NCCPAP’s treasurer.

Robert Brown will serve as secretary. Brown spent more than 30 years in public practice and worked with small to middle market companies and individuals in the areas of tax preparation, tax planning, estate planning, multi-state taxation, tax representation, financial statement preparation, and management advisory services.

Edward Caine, owner of EP Caine & Associates, is the immediate past president.

Scott Cheslowitz, a partner at Rothenberg & Peters, was elected as director.

Frank A. Gallo, a managing partner at Gallo & Company, as director. Kenneth Hauptman, who merged his firm with Wild, Maney & Resnick in 2013, will also serve as director.

Vito Mastro, owner of Mastro Associates, has a spot as director, as well as Barry Zalk who is a sole practitioner in Huntington, N.Y.
