Net@Work Goes Nationwide with Forepoint Acquisition

Major Sage reseller and technology consultant Net@Work has gone fully nationwide with its acquisition of Seattle-based Forepoint LLC.

Forepoint has more than 20 years of experience in the industry, as well as nearly 500 clients. The company has offices in Seattle, Oregon and Wisconsin, and services clients in those areas as well as in California, Hawaii and Alaska.

In addition to augmenting Net@Work’s Sage Accpac practice, the acquisition will provide Forepoint clients with access to Net@Work’s full complement of customer relationship management, document management, human resource management systems, systems integration and infrastructure, and e-commerce technology, according to Net@Work co-founder Alex Solomon.

“Forepoint has a well-deserved reputation for its Accpac expertise, their high level of professional business consulting services, and their focus on customer support,” said Solomon. “A lot of our clients are going to benefit from us being in more time zones. We do have regional businesses as clients too, and we want to be where they are, listen to them, and respond. We are a service business.”

Solomon also noted that the firm will continue its national expansion, currently eyeing opportunities in Denver, Chicago and the East Coast, where it already has a significant presence.

“We’ve gotten to know Alex and Eddie Solomon and their senior management team over the years, and have always been impressed with the Net@Work culture and philosophy,” said Forepoint president Kevin Cumley. “They are highly respected in the industry and their business values and focus on strong customer support align very nicely with our own. Joining Net@Work allows us to provide our clients with more resources, plus a single source for all their business solutions, from document management to Web development, as well as robust help desk support. Integrating our team into the Net@Work organization should be seamless, given the shared values, complementary capabilities, and the experience that both firms have in expanding services and resources to clients through strategic acquisition.”

Forepoint has three partners, including Cumley, John Foster and Sonia Gray. Cumley and Foster will take on business development roles, while Gray will serve as manager of professional services.
