Nicholas Montgomery LLP and TravisWolff LLP have agreed to merge. Terms of the deal were undisclosed.
The combination increased the staff of the two Dallas-based firms to more than 103, which includes six partners.
Nicholas Montgomery, which was founded in 1987 by Kenneth Nicolas and Samuel Montgomery, will take on the TravisWolff name and will move into the firm’s Tollway Plaza and the Dallas North Tollway locations. Nicholas Montgomery provides audit, tax and consulting services.
TravisWolff was established in 1991 by Ken Travis and Ed Wolff. The firm provides assurance, tax, consulting services and a number of specialized services including compensation and benefits planning, information technology auditing, employee benefit plan audits and forensic accounting.
