Pair of NYC-Area Firms to Merge

Two accounting firms with presences in Long Island and New York -- Nussbaum, Yates & Wolpow PC and Berg Klein Salomon LLP -- announced that they will merge.

Financial terms of the deal, which will become effective July 1, were not disclosed. The combined firm will do business under the name Nussbaum Yates Berg Klein & Wolpow LLP.

The firm will target midsized businesses and high-net-worth individuals in the tri-state area.
Steven Wolpow and Barry E. Berg will serve as co-managing partners of the firm, which will have more than 40 employees and soon move to new headquarters in Melville, N.Y., as well as continuing to maintain its Manhattan office.

NYBKW will offer a full spectrum of accounting, auditing, tax and business advisory services for private businesses, public companies and wealthy individuals.
