Payroll and benefits outsourcing provider Paychex said it has completed its previously announced acquisition of online payroll concern SurePayroll.

Founded in 2000, SurePayroll serves approximately 30,000 small businesses with its online payroll product.
Going forward, SurePayroll will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Paychex. Michael D. Alter will continue to serve as SurePayroll president.
