PayCycle introduced the latest version of its payroll service, PayCycle 2008, which now integrates with Sage Software's Peachtree accounting software.
The service already integrates with QuickBooks, Microsoft Money, Quicken, and various TaxWise and ATX accounting programs. PayCycle plans to begin offering customer support on weekends starting in January.
Other new features allow accounting professionals to assign varying levels of client access permissions. Clients can enter data or process payroll tasks to help share the workload.
PayCycle 2008 also offers electronic tax support in more states. A PayToday Setup feature lets accountants run client payroll the same day they sign up their clients. "It makes it easy to set up clients and pay them today," said PayCycle CEO Jim Hegger. A new batch-reporting feature gives payroll professionals and their clients access to a customized set of reports consolidated into one file.
