PCC Posts Agenda of Upcoming Meetings

The Private Company Council has released the agenda of its next public meetings, which are scheduled for September 30 and October 1.

The meetings will be webcast live on the Web site of the Financial Accounting Standards Board. Those who wish to attend in person must reserve a seat in advance.

Monday’s public session will begin at 1:20 P.M. EST, and will discuss accounting for certain receive-variable, pay-fixed interest rates swaps.

Tuesday’s public session will begin at 8:30 A.M. EST, and will cover primarily accounting for identifiable intangible assets in a business combination, and subsequent accounting for goodwill subsequent to a business combination, as well as selected FASB projects, including the definition of a non-public entity, and development-stage entities.
