PDI Offers Online Tax Guide

PDI Global has introduced an online version of its 2009-2010 Tax Planning Guide that accounting firms can put on their Web sites and market to clients.

The online version of the tax guide, which is also available in print and PDF versions, includes a mix of content for both the general taxpayer and high-net-worth individuals. The HTML design includes a front page that can be accessed through a link on the firm’s Web site and personalized with the firm’s logo.

A menu bar at the top, and topic links in a left-hand sidebar, help users navigate through the WebTaxGuide. The guide includes case studies, charts and highlights of important tax law changes. It is continuously updated as new tax regulations and laws are approved.

To distribute the WebTaxGuide to clients and prospects, PDI Global’s Flex-E-Guide e-mail program has a customizable HTML e-mail template that allows firms to choose to include links to the entire tax guide or just to specific sections. Firms can tailor the content to specific audiences that way or trickle out access to the guide one section at a time to reach recipients multiple times before and during tax season. The Flex-E-Guide also has tracking capabilities so firms can see which e-mails were opened and what sections of the guide were clicked on, and use the information to identify reader interests and as the basis for behavioral marketing.
