ILLINOIS

Alison Fetzer, of Ostrow Reisin Berk & Abrams, has been reappointed to serve on the not-for-profit organizations committee of the Illinois CPA Society for 2015-2016.Fetzer leads and supervises audit engagements and performs reviews, compilations and monthly accounting work for various organizations. She also prepares all necessary tax filings for these clients and assists them in analyzing financial statements, general business consulting and providing training and support.

KENTUCKY

Michele Blandford has joined Riney Hancock CPAs as a para-professional in the Accounting Services Division of the firm. Her responsibilities include providing payroll services for clients, including, processing direct deposits, remittance of electronic tax payments, and preparation of all payroll tax returns. She will also be responsible for accounts payable processing; monthly bank reconciliations; preparing standard, adjusting, and closing journal entries; and preparing financial statements.

WASHINGTON

The Seattle, Wash.-based firm Moss Adams LLP has promoted five partners to partner in charge through its organization. The new promotions include: Bob Hinton, who has served as the partner in charge of the Tacoma office for eight years, will now serve as the partner in charge of both the Tacoma and Seattle offices, focusing his efforts on market-facing activities for the greater Seattle and Tacoma business community. Rob Grannum was named the new partner in charge of the Everett office. In this role, he will champion client service and business development in the Everett marketplace. Jarret Rea assumed the role of partner in charge for the firm’s Kansas City office. He will continue to develop the market and pursue new industry opportunities. Steve Fein is the new partner in charge of the firm’s Portland office. Chris Paris takes over as the new partner in charge of Santa Rosa and Napa, focusing on market opportunities in the area.
