Wendell Peters, a partner at Henry & Horne LLP, Tempe, has retired after 15 years of service. He joined the firm in 1997, and became partner in 2001.

 

CONNECTICUT

Jill Kovalich, Connecticut marketing manager for Marcum LLP, North Haven, has been appointed a member of the Board of Directors of the Greater New Haven Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation for a two-year term.

 

GEORGIA

Amanda Foster and Pieter Penning have been promoted to partner in the assurance practice and the advisory practice, respectively, of PwC US, Atlanta.

 

ILLINOIS

Daniel J. Doherty has been named U.S. market development leader for the advisory practice of KPMG LLP, succeeding John Tesoro, who will be retiring in September. Doherty is based in Chicago.

Helene Kaiser Wall has joined Postlethwaite & Netterville as a manager in the Consulting Division.

Rod Desroches is leaving Gainer, Donnelly & Desroches LLP, Houston, where he has been a partner since 1992, to become president of U.S. Metals. He joined GDD in 1987.

 

VIRGINIA
