Prior to joining the firm, Umemoto spent 10 years at a large Los Angeles accounting firm where he honed his skills as a tax expert. Colleen Lindow has joined Bill.com as vice president of payments, risk and compliance. Lindow will be responsible for Bill.com processing partner relationships, risk and compliance functions, and payment operations as the company continues its rapid expansion. Kenneth Gundersen has joined Irvine-based Allen, Haight & Monaghan LLP as a partner. Prior to joining the firm, Gundersen had twenty years of experience in public accounting at several firms, including PricewaterhouseCoopers. He will serve clients as a partner in AHM’s Audit and Assurance Services department. Scott Krueger is the new chief financial officer for Irvine-based accounting firm White Nelson Diehl Evans LLP. He has 20 years of experience as a financial executive, including 10 years in corporate finance at Disney, Ingram Micro and Coca-Cola and 10 in operational roles at professional service firms including McGladrey LLP, BDO and Houlihan Lokey. Liam Collins has been appointed audit partner at Armanino LLP. He will lead the firm's national service organization control practice as a dedicated provider.

Sarah Cole has been promoted to chief executive officer of CHAN Healthcare, effective April 1. Cole is currently senior vice president at CHAN Healthcare and a partner at Crowe. CHAN Healthcare is a subsidiary of Crowe, one of the largest public accounting and consulting firms in the U.S. Cole will be the first female CEO of CHAN Healthcare, which is one of the largest providers of risk consulting and internal audit services in the U.S. healthcare industry. Brian Lane has joined Baker Tilly Virchow Krause as partner in the firm’s consumer lending services practice.

Randy Melby has been appointed Risk Assurance Managing Director in PwC’s Internal Audit practice, based in Seattle. Melby is focused primarily on building and leading PwC’s regional Banking Internal Audit Services solution and meeting the growing demand of traditional internal audit sourcing services. Joseph Ucuzoglu has been named chairman and chief executive officer of Deloitte & Touche LLP, a subsidiary of Deloitte LLP, to lead its audit practice. Ucuzoglu succeeds Cathy Engelbert, who was named chief executive officer of Deloitte LLP last month. Mandeep Trivedi has been promoted to practice leader of valuation services at Citrin Cooperman. In this role, Mandeep will lead the firm in expanding its footprint into prominent markets, performing independent and objective valuations for a range of consulting purposes including corporate financial planning, mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting and IRS compliance, and litigation. Mandeep will oversee the preparation and delivery of top-quality valuations of private equity, businesses, intellectual property and intangible assets, and complex securities such as derivatives and debt securities. David Buckley, former Inspector General for the Central Intelligence Agency, has joined KPMG as a managing director in its Forensic Advisory Services. In this role, he will lead KPMG’s Federal Forensic practice, with primary responsibility for providing investigative and integrity advisory services to civilian agencies within the Federal government, entailing fraud risk assessments, compliance and ethics program development and integrity monitoring. Richard Shevak has joined CohnReznick LLP as a director in the firm’s tax practice.

Dave Camp, former U.S. House of Representatives Ways and Means Committee Chairman, has joined PwC US as a senior policy advisor based in its Washington National Tax Services practice. Chairman Camp was recognized for his leadership in advancing federal tax reform, and will continue to focus on economic, tax, international trade and health care policy while at PwC. Sean Hailey, former Tax Advisor to the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Ways and Means, has re-joined Ernst & Young LLP as a partner with the firm’s National Tax Department - International Tax Services in Washington, DC. As a Tax Advisor with the House Committee on Ways and Means, Hailey helped formulate international tax policy and draft tax reform proposals primarily focusing on moving the U.S. international tax system to a territorial tax system.
