The Accreditation Council on Accountancy and Taxation, Alexandria, announced the results of the five different credentialing exams offered during the November-December 2011 testing window.

Eleven people passed the "Practice 1" portion of the two-part Comprehensive Examination for Accreditation in Accountancy: Darren Bailey, of Key Largo, Fla.; Ana Maria Cardona, of Lehigh Acres, Fla.; Lisa Colon, of New London, Ct.; Marit Gilkey, of Excelsior, Minn.; Jorge Gomez, of North Hills, Calif; Wayne Green, of Niantic, Ct.; Carol Ann Korte, of Keokuk, Iowa; Daniel Randall, of Eugene, Ore; Richard Sacks, of St. Charles, Mo.; John Spada, of Quincy, Mass.; and Edward Steinback, of Prescott Valley, Ariz. Randall posted the highest score on the exam. Nine people passed the "Practice 2" portion of the exam: the previously mentioned Darren Bailey, Ana Maria Cardona, Richard Sacks, John Spada and Carol Ann Korte; and Jesse Leahy, of Topock, Ariz; Yuliya Pigrish, of Redondo Beach, Calif.; Alexander Smith, of Solana Beach, Calif.; and Jason Jones, of Columbus, Ohio.
