Paul L. Peterson has been named managing partner of leading New Jersey/New York firm Wiss & Co. LLP, succeeding Jeff Campo.
Peterson, who joined the firm in 1995, was made partner in 2004, and most recently served as partner-in-charge of the Middle-Market Commercial Practice Group. He has focused particularly on family-owned and closely held businesses in a variety of industries. As MP, he will responsible for the firm's long-term strategy, growth initiatives and overall management.

Peterson holds an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business, and a BS in Accounting from Seton Hall University.
Campo, who has served as MP since 2001, will become chairman and chief operating officer of the firm, continuing to serve clients, as well as focusing on external relations.
