PKF O’Connor Davies merges in BFMM

PKF O’Connor Davies LLP, a Top 100 Firm based in New York, has added Batchelor, Frechette, McCrory, Michael & Co., a firm based in Providence, Rhode Island, expanding PKFOD’s expertise in private clubs, commercial construction and real estate firms, employee benefit plans, manufacturing and not-for-profits.

The deal is part of PKFOD’s strategic growth initiative in which the firm has been expanding its geographic reach and adding experts in some key practice areas. The BFMM team adds experience in some of the targeted industries.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. PKFOD had $165.75 million in annual revenue last year. The firm ranked 29th on Accounting Today’s 2018 list of the Top 100 Firms. BFMM earned $5 million in annual revenue. The deal will add BFMM’s four partners and 26 staff members to PKFOD’s 105 partners and 755 staff.

BFMM has been offering accounting, auditing, tax and consulting services to midsized and large organizations for more than 30 years..

The merger means PKF O’Connor Davies will now have a total of 11 offices in five states as it continues expanding through both acquisitions and organic growth along the East Coast. Last December, PKFOD acquired GKG CPAs, a firm based in Chestnut Ridge, New York.
