PKF Texas' Evans Named Marketer of the Year

Raissa Evans, executive manager of practice growth at Pannell Kerr Forster of Texas PC, has been named 2011 Marketer of the Year by the Association for Accounting Marketing and the CPA Practice Management Forum.

An at-large member of the National AAM Board since 2008, Evans now servers as treasurer, and also co-founded the group's Houston chapter. She is the second person from PKF Texas to win the award - the firm's director of practice growth, Karen Love, was named Marketer of the Year in 2002.

"We are proud of the legacy of excellence we've created within our Practice Growth Department," said PKF Texas president Kenneth Guidry. "Raissa is the first Marketer of the Year to not only come from the same firm as a previous winner, but also to still be working with her mentor."

"Naturally, I am proud of Raissa and how her individual successes have contributed to the success of our team," said Love. "In the eight-and-a-half years I've known and worked with her, Raissa has earned her influence within the firm, the Houston marketplace and our industry."
