Plante & Moran to Resell AccTrak21

Minneapolis (Oct. 14, 2003) -- Business and accounting services firm Plante & Moran has signed a distribution partnership with accounting software maker AccTrak21, allowing the firm’s clients and prospects exclusive access to the product.

“Until recently, there wasn't a solution available to small and mid-sized companies that provided the complete functionality that AccTrak21 does at a substantially lower cost,” said managing partner Bill Hermann. “This partnership with AccTrak21 will allow Plante & Moran the opportunity to provide a superior and affordable financial and business intelligence solution for our clients.”

The move is also significant as the company is making its way back from the loss of top CPA technologist Wayne Harding and his hand-picked team of marketing specialists, who departed the company shortly after its deal with sole reseller, tax software vendor ATX.

“We are pleased to have a firm of Plante & Moran's stature join our global team,” said Steve Yulga, chief executive of AccTrak21 USA. "Our partnership with Plante & Moran demonstrates our continuing growth as a significant presence in the business management software marketplace.”

AccTrak21 version 10.5, the most recent release, is an integrated practice management and time and billing system for professional service organizations.

AccTrak21's customer relationship management module, included in version 10.5, offers tools to collate, share, and analyze vital customer information. Version 10.5 also integrates AccTrak21's accounting and business intelligence software with front office tools like Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
