Lancaster, Ohio (July 2, 2003) -- Plante & Moran partner and Ohio Chamber of Commerce board member David Scheffler is now the chamber’s chairman.
Scheffler, a 10-year board member, plans to push for pro-business legislation, such as workers’ compensation reforms, and the prevention of health insurance coverage mandates.
Plante & Moran managing partner Bill Hermann said Scheffler “bleeds chamber blood,” and predicts that he will be “an integral component of the Ohio Chamber -- not only for his two years as chairman -- but for years to come.”
Scheffler has 30 years of public accounting experience, six of which have been with Plante & Moran. He specializes in providing consulting, auditing, and other financial services to hospitals and other health care providers throughout Ohio.
