The former and current managing partners of super-regional CPA and business advisory firm Plante Moran have released “Succession Transition: A Roadmap for Seamless Transitions,” a book that offers an inside view of strategies to cultivate staff members into leadership positions.
Written by Bill Hermann, who served as MP from 2001-2009 and his successor, Gordon Krater, the book focuses on six key areas—organizational culture, communication and recognition, leadership selection, development, experiential learning and mentoring—that are necessary for a successful leadership transition.
With a foreword from Wayne State University President and former Ford Motor Co. CFO Allan Gilmour, the book is published by Momentum Books. Copies can be purchased for $19.95 online at Amazon.com.
