Prager Metis adds Davidoff

Prager Metis CPAs, a Top 100 Firm based in New York, has merged in E. Martin Davidoff & Associates, a prominent tax firm in New Jersey.

As part of the deal, Martin Davidoff and Robbin Caruso will be joining Prager Metis as partners, leading the Prager Metis Tax Controversy business. With the addition of Davidoff and Caruso, Prager Metis will have 78 partners and more than 450 team members.

Financial terms were not disclosed. Prager Metis ranked 53rd on Accounting Today’s 2018 list of the Top 100 Firms. The firm’s revenue in 2018 was $82.5 million.

Prager Metis has approximately 13 offices worldwide, including locations in New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles, Miami, London and India. The staff at Davidoff will be relocating from their offices in Dayton, New Jersey, to Prager Metis’s office in Cranbury in January.

Last month, Prager Metis expanded on Long Island by combining with S.A Koenig & Associates CPAs in Syosset, New York. In January, it expanded in California by merging in Geibelson, Young & Company in Woodland Hills.
