Prager Metis partners with the Alzheimer's Association

Prager-Metis-2016

Top 100 public accounting and consulting firm Prager Metis CPAs has recently announced a corporate partnership with the Alzheimer's Association.

This past fall, the firm began the partnership by seeing multiple teams walk in the regional “Walk to End Alzheimer’s” events in Long Island, Manhattan, New Jersey, and Los Angeles, raising over $50,000 in their first year of participating. Prager Metis also plans on attending the Alzheimer’s Association's annual "Longest Day" fundraising event, held on the first day of summer, with all offices participating.

The partnership was formed following many Prager Metis professionals' experience with the disease. Co-managing partners Glenn Friedman and David Neste both lost their fathers to the disease over the past year.

“We knew from day one we wanted our firm to support a cause," stated co-managing partner David Neste. "The Alzheimer’s Association was a perfect fit and working with them has been an honor.”

“Partnering with the Alzheimer’s Association has been incredible, our Prager Metis team members all coming together to bring us one step further to finding a cure to this disease," added co-managing partner Glenn Friedman, per a statement. "We look forward to what the future has in store."

The Alzheimer’s Association represents the largest nonprofit funder of Alzheimer's research, formed in 1980.
