Joseph D. Mudd, CPA, has joined Reznick Group as national director of tax, charged with expanding the Top 100 firm's national tax practice.
He joins Reznick from The Specialty Tax Service Group, where, as founder and managing director, he designed and developed national tax practice groups for several large national and super-regional CPA firms.
"Joe Mudd brings to Reznick Group and our clients an exceptional depth of experience and knowledge on both international and domestic tax advisory and compliance issues," said managing principal and CEO Ken Baggett. Prior to working at The Specialty Tax Service Group, Mudd was a partner at RSM McGladrey, and before that was a tax partner at Ernst & Young, and held tax senior staff positions at Price Waterhouse and Arthur Andersen. He holds Master of Taxation from the University of Denver, and a BS from Colorado State University.
