RKL launches outsourcing subsidiary

Pennsylvania-based Top 100 Firm RKL LLP has launched a new subsidiary to offer outsourced accounting and business services.

The practice, RKL Virtual Management Solutions, will manage the accounting, financial management, payroll and HR functions of business clients.

"Over the past few years, owners and executives realized that what got them to this point won't get them to the next level, which generated explosive demand for our outsourced back-office services," said RKL Virtual managing partner Bethany Novis, in a statement. "RKL Virtual gives us a scalable platform to address this desire for forward-looking support."

Working with Novis on the unit's leadership team will be:

  • Gretchen Naso, who will serve as president and focus on operations and managing strategic goals and growth targets.
  • Stephane Smith, who will serve as managing director of workforce strategies, and focus on HR and compensation services; and,
  • Ryan Moore, who will serve as managing director of finance and operations, and focus on outsourced accounting and financial management services.

The practice is based in the Client Advisory Services model created by the American Institute of CPAs and CPA.com.

"With RKL Virtual Management Solutions, we're transforming the conventional outsourcing model into an opportunity to leverage talent, processes and technology to help organizations work smarter, perform better and achieve goals," said RKL CEO Ed Monborne, in a statement. "It's an exciting time at RKL as we once again expand the notion of what's possible for our team and our clients."
