RSM McGladrey Creates Small-Firm Association

RSM McGladrey has introduced Firm Foundation, an association and program for small CPA firms that gives them tools and training in areas such as practice management and marketing.Firms with approximately 10 to 30 full-time employees can join the association. Members get access to technical tools for tax and auditing, as well as assistance in succession planning, recruiting, people management, profitability, growth, human resources and technology.

Charter members include six accounting firms: Baratz & Associates in Marlton, N.J., Bucheri McCarty & Metz in Kokomo, Ind., Fortin Chunko & Brouse in Lansing, Mich., Hau & Associates in Milwaukee, Wis., RBSK Partners in Greensburg, Ind., and Silas Simmons in Natchez, Miss.

Firm Foundation is a division of RSM McGladrey and part of the company’s accounting services group, which includes the RSM McGladrey Network of independent accounting firms and AdvanceCPA, a provider of tools for the accounting industry. RSM McGladrey is a subsidiary of H&R Block.
